There is something really powerful about watching old cartoons and how emotional moment are animated. 

I adore how the body language is super strong but can still show very delicate gestures (eyelash swoops). And I really enjoy the realism-to-cartoony turnaround after the kiss.

I’ve decided to do a advent calender for the whole month of December! But not just one filled with chocolate or chistmas-y things—OH NO! This will be a TUMBLR JOY ADVENT CALENDER. Every day I will post a lil’ something that will be like a advent gift on your dashboard—strange, goofy, artsy, nerdy, wonderful, terrible, awesome, and fun! [The first 5 days I missed will be covered in a post shortly]

Here is a better 360 view of the room so you can sort of get a better idea of how everything looks.  I ended up spending about $25 of post-its for the ENTIRE room and I still have a bunch left over.  

OKAY SO YEAH. I’m reblogging all of my boy’s work because it is nerdy, and colorful, and creative, and fantastic!

“Yes, these are all post-its.  This seemed like a good way to use all the yellow ones I had.  Pacman love provides great musical inspiration when playing the piano!”

“I also outline all my doors and windows with different colors.  So in other words… its kinda like Pee-Wee’s Playhouse in here”
